The Latest Guilds of Aion---Chanter

In this Aion guide, we’ll be the guilds to the Chanter class of the game Aion.

The Chanter is mainly seen as one of the healing and buffing classes in Aion, but it’s also one of the most flexible. When you choose to play this class, you’ll have access to all sorts of skills, ranging from the offensive de-buffing stun attacks to the defensive heal over time spells.

When it comes to being an effective Healer, the Cleric might be one step ahead, but Chanters can still be a very effective one too. The difference is that it can cost you more mana, time, and effort.

The upside to this is that you also have the ability to weaken your enemies and be a valuable asset in the actual fight as well, even stepping in as a tank from time to time.

If you happen to play in a group including a Cleric, make sure you have your roles straight before engaging in a battle. Not all skills stack, and if both of you are trying to play the same role in the group it could lead to an unnecessary waste of MP and a less efficient battle strategy.

In such a situation, having the Cleric be the healer and you the buff-meister might not be such a bad idea.

Just like your previously mentioned cousin, as a Chanter you have the ability to heal yourself, which means you won’t be as reliant on Healing Potions and frequent resting stops as other classes might be. You also have access to multiple buffing skills to keep you alive and kicking for a long time.

Add to that the ability to equip high defense Chain gear, and you’ve got a character that can hold his own and take some damage without keeling over (although not nearly as much as a Templar, but more than a Sorcerer or Spiritmaster).

The negative side to the Chanter class is that not all of your skills can be used from afar, meaning you need to be up close and personal with the enemy from time to time.

Also, certain skills have a longer casting time, so you’ll have to stay alert or you might miss out on healing your allies in time, or possibly leaving yourself vulnerable to attack.

Your healing spells aren’t as powerful as the Cleric’s either, but still good enough to be useful.

Overall, the Chanter class suits the person who likes to be a supportive player, but also wants to step into the ring and throw some punches now and then. While Chanters do work well while soloing, they are definitely best suited as a powerful ally in a team.
