I've heard a number of people say that the crafting in LOTRO leaves a bit to be desired. I think it's okay but that it could be a lot more immersive and as just one of the ideas that could help achieve such an upgrade.

The faster your effective Speed, the faster your auto-attack animations execute, so there is less delay between the activation of your queued active skills.
In many other MMOs, a weapon's listed DPS statistic was a good indication of overall performance and a good way to compare the relative value different weapons. Unfortunately, this is not the case in LOTRO.
Lore-masters are an unassuming class, not pictured as being particularly powerful in combat, and to an outsider, the role of a lore-master may be unclear.
