The message has already been spread all over Tibia MMORPG: achievements are coming to Tibia! So this summer update teaser will just provide a rough overview of what achievements are about. Further, Tibia is going to present the rest of the new items that will be available to you ingame.
Achievements bring an exciting new dimension to Tibia. Think about them as exclusive titles your characters earn on special occasions while playing. You can collect them, show them off on your character information pages and share your successes with friends. Since achievements are worth up to 10 points each you can even compete with other players on the highscore lists! A new achievement ranking will be added there.
More than 80 achievements are available from the start. Some of them are secret so you will have to find out by yourself how to get those. Achievements are account-based which means they are assigned to all characters on the same account alike. So even if you unlock an achievement like the Bearhugger with your main character you can choose to display it on your secondary character's information page as well. The achievement points, however, are character-based of course.
The final week of June has been declared a week of vigil forFox Van Allen, the once great shadow priest who vanished after his expeditions in Borean Tundra. His dream to tame 300 thousand penguin was a great one. All holy and discipline priests honor his memory. Spriest on, comrade, spriest on!
You've seen them basking in that heavenly golden light while effortlessly dishing out heals left and right. You've seen those magnificent white wings stretch out over your fallen allies, just when it seemed all hope was lost, and in the longest 15 seconds of your life, carry your comrades to victory. They are priests, arguably the healer of the World of Warcraft.
Today I am writing for the players out there who don't have a priest of their own, but have long watched from afar with longing. Does the priest class intrigue you? Perhaps you have been thinking of venturing into the light but have yet to do so? Well, today I will be laying out what you need to know before you get started.
